Rebecca D. Sarran, M.D.

Dr. Rebecca D. Sarran is a board-certified and fellowship trained Ophthalmologist and Glaucoma Specialist specializing in the surgical and medical management of glaucoma, as well as the treatment of comprehensive ophthalmic concerns including cataracts in Chicago.

Rebecca Deutsch Sarran, M.D., is a board-certified Ophthalmologist and Glaucoma Specialist. She has been a member of University Ophthalmology Associates and an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Rush University since 2020. Dr. Sarran comes from a proud tradition of serving the Chicagoland area as the fourth-generation ophthalmologist in her family. She is honored to practice in the community in which she was raised.

Dr. Sarran pursued her medical degree and residency training at Rush University. She then went on to complete her glaucoma fellowship training with the glaucoma service at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. She specializes in the surgical and medical management of glaucoma, as well as the treatment of comprehensive ophthalmic concerns, including cataracts.
