Robert M. Stein is an assistant professor of Ophthalmology at Rush University Medical Center and an attending physician at Rush University Medical Center.

A comprehensive ophthalmologist in Chicago, Dr. Stein provides routine eye care as well as state-of-the-art surgical and laser treatment for a variety of eye diseases. He enjoys a reputation as an excellent cataract surgeon and is widely respected for his expertise among patients and physicians alike. Dr. Stein feels very strongly about the importance of excellent communication with his patients. Therefore, he makes this a priority during each patient visit.

Over the course of many years, he has proudly provided eyecare for generations of families throughout the Chicago area.

Presently, Dr. Stein works part-time in our Skokie office, providing routine eye examinations as well as consultation with his partners regarding with complex eye problems.

Dr. Stein received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin. After earning his Medical Degree from The Chicago Medical School, Dr. Stein completed his residency training at Rush University Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Chicago Ophthalmological Society.
